Specialty Training Programmes
|
The new Princess Royal University Hospital which opened in March 2003 has a long tradition of providing excellent medical training opportunities in most specialties. The Education Centre provides a warm and friendly refuge from the challenges of everyday life, offering state of the art cyber café and library facilities within a supportive environment. The Sanctuary Brasserie offers fresh and wholesome catering for all. The Trust has invested in modern onsite, purpose-built accommodation, opened in 2006. We have good public transport links to Central London.
All doctors in training within the Trust have a personal Educational Supervisor to help guide them through their professional learning and offer personal support and advice. Many Consultant trainers have undertaken a Certificate in Teaching. All posts within training programmes will have been educationally approved by the commencement of the programme.
Please take time to look at the specialty specific programme information contained in the pages linked in the left hand toolbar. Each specialty will offer an overview of the training programme, key individuals involved in training and information about the educational opportunity which is available.
We would encourage you to browse these pages and consider whether Bromley could offer you the right training opportunity. We have no doubt that you would enjoy the training experience we have to offer as have countless doctors in the past.
